On-site bar-restaurants

16 May2017

No need to wander, we've got food & drink on-site

Each of our marinas has great local pubs close-by, but why wear out the shoe leather when we've got bar-restaurants right on-site

Haslar Marina

TRINITY'S       trinitysatthelightship.co.uk

You can't miss Haslar's big green lightship, Mary Mouse, it's a Portsmouth Harbour landmark. Onboard the lightship is Trinity's bar-restaurant.
Trinity's serves lunch and dinner and has a well stocked bar, so you can sit in the sun with a jug of Pimms, enjoy a seafood linguini with a chilled New Zealand sauvignon, or simply watch the world go by with a pint in your hand.
The lightship is getting a bit of a spruce-up this year, with the first phase upgrading lower decks and washrooms. The lower bar area will become a crew mess, with a coffee machine and seating area for school crews to revise their nav or families to play board games on rainy days.
The top deck offers one of the best views in the south - an ever-changing vista of ships and boats against the backdrop of the Spinnaker Tower and old Portsmouth. Dogs are welcome on the top deck, so bring your best buddy.

HARDY'S       hardys-catering.co.uk

Hardy's at Haslar is located in the colourful Haslar village, just across the road from the marina office.
During the winter Hardy’s had a makeover, with a smart new colour scheme and decoration throughout. To go with the new look Hardy's, Sarah has also refreshed the menu, with tapas-style small plates at lunchtimes. If you're not sure what you want to eat, you can now choose two or three  dishes like smoked chicken ceasar sald, patatas bravas and fried halloumi.
Get into the swing of things at happy hour, which is Monday to Thursday 5-7pm (long hours in Gosport!) - buy one drink and get the other free.
Sunday lunch at Hardy's remains an institution.
Hardy's is open Monday to Saturday for morning coffees, lunch and dinner, and on Sunday for lunch service only. Ask about the famous themed dining evenings - they’re sell-out popular.

East Cowes Marina

THE LIFEBOAT       thelifeboatcowes.co.uk

On summer weekends there may be relaxed accousitc jam sessions with local musicians - all adding to the chilled holiday vibe.
The menu has been refreshed, and now includes a host of new favourites, from superfood salad to traditional fish and chips. Open every day for lunch and dinner, the Lifeboat also services breakfasts during Cowes Week. The bar serves a range of local beers plus international lagers and ciders, and they’ve got a good selection of wines too.
