When approaching Portsmouth Harbour from the sea, all boats under 20m LOA must use the small boat channel on the west side of the entrance. Listen to VHF Ch 11 'Portsmouth Harbour Radio' for shipping movements.
Come past Fort Blockhouse to port and you will see the big green lightship to port. Call the marina for berth allocation. The marina is staffed 24/7, but if you can't raise anyone, the visitors' area is on pontoons L and M just inside the Lightship.
