Portland Poetry Walks through Stepping into Nature

Join Jurassic Coast (UNESCO World Heritage Site) poet-in-residence, Sarah Acton, for a FREE entle poetry walk connecting creativity to nature in Easton Gardens Park, Isle of Portland. The walk is run through the Stepping into Nature, Dorset AONB. Stepping into Nature events are open to everyone, and suited to adults and older people, and those living with dementia and their carers to access and enjoy our beautiful Dorset landscape, wildlife and culture. There will be plenty of rest stops to so rest and chat.

You will find community, inspiration and well-being by spending a morning with Sarah thinking about poetry, reflecting on the landscape and writing your own words. With readings, discussion and brief writing exercises suitable for all ages and abilities. The activity is friendly, stimulating and fun.

All walks are 10am-11.30am and all materials are provided. Please book ahead for numbers.
