Exciting promotions and developments at Haslar Marina
Such amazing people we are lucky to have (and these are just a few!)
Alex Page (Assistant Manager) is increasingly busy working with our Marketing Department, and to make sure that we continue to have a strong management team, Colin McLean has now been promoted as an additional Assistant Manager to assist Ben and Alex in the day to day running of Haslar Marina. Colin has an incredible knowledge of sailing, with his beloved Westerly Seatangle III, and is no stranger to powerboating, as he came to us fresh from working as an RYA Powerboat instructor. Colin’s excellent work ethic probably came from his submariner days, and we think he is now thriving further, enjoying the fresh air and feeling of space around Haslar Marina.
To fill Colin’s shoes, we are delighted to announce that Jordan Paulet has been promoted to Senior Berthing Master. Jordan came to us with a glowing reference from his time as a Marina Assistant at East Cowes Marina. We believe their judgement was spot on, and hence this richly deserved promotion for Jordan. Jordan is always smiling and ready to get stuck into whatever job is outstanding. A true all-rounder!
Last, but by no means least, following Ryan Deane’s (Deano!) fantastic efforts with the growing BoatCare department, Deano is now moving up and over into the BoatCare arena full time and will be the main contact for our customers for their boat care needs. Deano will work from the New Year in our new BoatCare office (incorporating Marine Power) across the road from the Marina Office at Unit 1 (the old Marine Power shop). Deano has been a star player for us for many years, and is at his sparkling best when he has tools in his hand helping a customer with any manner of jobs. His army ‘can-do!’ attitude continues to be his mantra as nothing makes him happier than to see our customers’ needs met.
Such amazing people we are lucky to have (and these are just a few!) – which really make Haslar Marina what it is.
