Weymouth's fine Georgian seafront is an impressive backdrop to the long arc of fine golden sand. The sands and safe water of Weymouth Beach and bay are some of the finest in Great Britain and Europe. Throughout the year the beach hosts several major events including the International Beach Kite Festival, Fireworks, Tag Rugby, Handball, Volleyball, Motocross and lots more. From lazing on the beach or sitting along the Seafront the views are inspirational with the panoramic bay and World Heritage Dorset coastline extending as far as the eye can see.
Weymouth Bike Hire
Following the route of an old railway line, the Rodwell Trail is a flat footpath/cyclepath linking Weymouth Town Centre and Portland Harbour. Condor Ferries

The Tank Museum

Monkey World
This internationally-acclaimed ape rescue centre, in 65 acres of beautiful Dorset woodland, is home to over 230 primates – including the largest group of chimps outside Africa. Radipole Lake Nature Reserve
A nature reserve in central Weymouth sounds unlikely, but once you are on the footpath amongst the reeds and lagoons you could be far away in the countryside. Radipole is a great place to come, whether you are new to wildlife watching or an old hand. There are well-known birds here such as house sparrows, finches and robins, alongside uncommon or rare birds like Cetti's warblers and bitterns.
