Security

There are berthing staff in attendance 24 hours a day. A CCTV system is also being set up to continuously monitor the marina and its shore-side areas.

A card will be issued to permanent berth holders giving access to the car park, pontoons, washrooms and laundry. There will also be a coded keypad system at the main pedestrian gate and an intercom system at all gates.

Toilets and showers

Portland Marina has extensive high quality showers and washroom facilities, including a baby changing unit and accessible/family washroom, all located in the main marina building (opposite the main access bridge).

Electricity

All berths are supplied with a metered electrical point.

Water

The water supplies on the pontoons are all potable and are checked regularly for water quality.

Gas

Gas will be available from the on-site chandlery during normal working hours. The chandlery is expected to open in July 2009.
